- Contents: The need for continuous improvement of business performance. Methodologies for improvement and their origin. What is Lean Six Sigma (origin, history, LEAN thinking, 6σ). Presentation methodology Lean Thinking (The five principles of Lean. What is ‘loss’ (waste) in businesses. Value added activities, non-value added activities, and necessary activities. Mapping of value – value stream mapping). Presentation of the 6σ Philosophy (Statistical background, application model DMAIC Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control). Important tools at each stage. The combination of methodologies 6σ and LEAN.
- Duration (hours): 8 (theoretical education for certification), 16 (experiential training with application in improvement projects).
